Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure in hyperscale and enterprise environments. You will perform rack-and-stack, structured cabling, equipment provisioning, testing, and operational support with safety and quality in mind.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in data center operations or IT infrastructure and a strong understanding of copper/fiber cabling, hardware, and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years in data center operations, cabling, or IT infrastructure support.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking gear, power distribution, and cabling.
• Understanding copper and fiber cabling practices, basic optical networking concepts, and installation standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, installation documentation, and MOPs.
• Experience performing rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and equipment installation with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and safety.
• Ability to collaborate with technicians, project teams, vendors, and customers while working independently.

• Perform rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and equipment installation activities.
• Support provisioning, testing, and operational handover of data center infrastructure.
• Ensure work is performed safely and per Ericsson and customer standards.
• Coordinate with project teams and vendors to complete deployments.
