Job summary

The Technician 2 role at Network Connex involves hands-on installation across head ends, hubs, and central offices to support MSO, cable, telephone, data center and communications services. Monroe, LA-based position with team-driven installs and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires field installation experience, cabling proficiency, and ability to test video, RF, coax, fiber, and UTP systems while adhering to industry standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ years field technical installation and cabling experience.
• 1+ years working documentation on technical jobs (JCR, SOW, etc.).
• 1+ years of leading work/jobs in the field.
• CDL Class B preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to complete cabling installation activities.
• Assist in equipment installation and ensure proper setup.
• Support infrastructure installation tasks as part of project requirements.
• Perform testing of video, RF, coax, fiber, and UTP systems to ensure functionality.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain compliance with standards and specifications.
