Network Connex is seeking a Data Center Cable Technician to install and manage low-voltage cabling in our data center. You will work with copper and fiber, follow industry standards, and support reliable connectivity for our clients.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and precise record-keeping as you plan installations, run tests, and troubleshoot cabling issues with minimal downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in low-voltage cabling installation or a related field.
• Knowledge of cabling standards and best practices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, Fiber Optic Association) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install various low-voltage cabling systems, including copper and fiber optics.
• Conduct tests to ensure proper installation and functionality of cabling.

• Collaborate with team members to plan and execute installation projects efficiently.

As a Data Center Cable Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and management of low voltage cabling in our data center business line. Your role will involve working with various types of cabling systems, ensuring that all installations meet industry and customer standards and specifications. You will collaborate with other team members to maintain a safe and efficient work environment and contribute to the overall performance of the data center infrastructure. Your attention to detail and technical skills will be essential in ensuring seamless connectivity and reliability for our clients.
