Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking motivated individuals for a Data Center Technician Apprentice role. You will work alongside experienced technicians in a cutting-edge AI cloud environment, gaining hands-on experience with servers, networking, and infrastructure.

The program combines practical training with mentorship to build a solid foundation in data center operations. You will participate in multi-site logistics, including potential relocation after training.

Qualifications

• No prior professional experience in data centers is required.
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Basic computer literacy and foundational understanding of hardware.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot server, networking, and hardware issues in a fast-paced production environment.
• Provide hands-on technical support alongside experienced data center technicians and engineers.
• Assemble, rack, cable, and install enterprise‑grade servers, networking equipment, and supporting infrastructure.
• Perform hardware upgrades, preventative maintenance, and equipment replacements to maximize system reliability.
• Learn to automate operational tasks by developing or modifying scripts that support server and network operations.
• Investigate hardware and software failures, perform root cause analysis, and help implement long‑term solutions.
• Follow industry‑leading safety, security, and operational best practices while working in a mission‑critical data center.
