Job summary

Amazon is hiring Data Center Technicians for our Stafford, VA site, with travel to nearby locations as needed during ramp-up. You’ll help ensure data center availability, perform hardware and network diagnostics, and participate in on-call rotations across day and evening shifts.

The role requires 1+ years of hardware and networking experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience.
• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.

Responsibilities

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds
• Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
• Some regional travel may be required
