A leading provider of data center solutions is seeking a skilled Data Center Technician in Fort Worth, Texas. You will maintain the operations of a state-of-the-art data center, supporting hardware and network infrastructure. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in data center environments, familiarity with networking concepts, and the ability to work flexible shifts. Qualifications
Flexible and reliable to work rotating day/night shifts/weekend.
Physically able to lift and install equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Responsibilities
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot servers and networking equipment.
Perform installations, hardware replacements, and upgrades.
Conduct preventative maintenance on critical systems.
Assist in incident response and root cause analysis.
Ensure compliance with operational procedures and security standards.
Skills
Previous hands-on experience in a data center environment
Intermediate knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
Familiarity with server builds, racking/stacking, cabling
Understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems at an administrator level
Exposure to DCIM tools or monitoring platforms
Experience with fiber optics and copper cabling
Awareness of data center environment basics (UPS systems, power distribution)
Education
Certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA)
