Job summary

Serverfarm is seeking a hands-on Data Center Technician to help maintain 24/7 critical infrastructure at our facilities in the Atlanta area. You will monitor power and environmental conditions, perform scheduled and corrective maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to ensure safe, reliable operation of essential systems.

The role requires at least 2+ years in a data center and strong communication, self-management, and accuracy.

Qualifications

2+ years experience in a Data Center delivering customer requirements in a critical technology environment.
Evidence of self-management and alignment with changing priorities.
Good written and oral communication skills, tenacity, and high accuracy.

Responsibilities

Ensure that all MEP plant and distribution infrastructure is operated and maintained safely per best industry practice and manufacturers’ recommendations.
Monitor power and environmental conditions within all critical spaces.
Perform maintenance tasks in accordance with SF practices using the internal CMMS.
Assist with planning and scheduling corrective maintenance activities.
Escort and support outside contractors, ensuring adherence to SF rules and processes.
Respond to site incidents, document and communicate actions to manage the event.
Support and follow all SF Change Control policies and procedures.
Perform site rounds and report issues to site management.
Participate in construction and commissioning activities as directed by site management.
Adhere to local, state and federal safety laws and requirements.
