Job summary

Emploive is seeking a Data Center Technician III to install hardware into racks, tag assets, and manage cabling within a data center. You will document processes, support server installations, and ensure accuracy in asset tracking.

The role requires strong English communication, the ability to respond to on-call requests within an hour, and experience with CAT5e, CAT6, fiber, and data center infrastructure. You must provide your own transportation to locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 5–8 years related experience or equivalent
• Experience cabling systems (power/copper/fiber) according to SOPs
• Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in data center environments

Responsibilities

• Install, move, and decommission hardware in data center racks
• Label devices, racks, and cables
• Communicate clearly in ticketing system with customers
• Follow SOPs, policies, safety, and security guidelines
• Other duties as required; not an exhaustive list
