Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics, Michigan City, is seeking a Data Center Team Lead to manage material orders, inventory and server installations in the datacenter.

You will oversee loading/unloading, quality checks, rack placement, cabling, and equipment operation while ensuring safety, accuracy and 5S standards.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, 3-5 years of related experience, and computer proficiency are required; base pay is $24.50 hourly.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience.

• Knowledge of electrical safety and static discharge hazards and protocols.
• Experience with computers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight and manage shipping documents.
• Perform quality checks on inbound/outbound freight and verify part numbers/quantities.
• Execute daily inventory cycle counts and replenishment for critical spare parts.
• Process return shipments using warehouse management systems.
• Install server racks and cabling according to diagrams and schematics.
• Operate material handling equipment (straddle stackers, pallet jacks).
• Maintain safety, cleanliness and 5S compliance.
