Job summary

Match Group is seeking an Operations Engineer - Data Center (SysOps) to join a diverse team responsible for supporting mission‑critical hardware and infrastructure in our data centers in Dallas, TX. The role requires onsite presence with a hybrid schedule and occasional travel for multiple locations.

You will build and deploy physical and virtual servers for production and non‑production environments, perform break‑fix and troubleshooting, and develop documentation.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional in-field experienceworking onsite at a data center and/or as a System Engineer.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or Glean.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Knowledge of HPE and Lenovo server hardware, RAID storage, memory and chassis expansions.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, BASH, Python).
• Experience managing maintenance and configuration changes.
• Strong focus on hardware/software return to service.

Responsibilities

• Support server hardware, network, and data center infrastructure.
• Build and deploy physical and virtual servers for production and non-production environments.
• Perform break‑fix and troubleshooting for server, network, and storage hardware.
• Create and maintain Wiki/Documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues independently.
• Ability to lift 50lbs if necessary.
• Be on‑call for after‑hours rotations.
• Communicate effectively with the team.
