Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a System Architect in Hillsboro to drive datacenter system architecture from chip level to full-scale deployments. You will collaborate with silicon, software, networking, and operations teams to deliver cutting-edge products and steer architectural decisions based on performance, power, and cost analyses.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in complex product systems, deep hardware know-how, and a track record leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in complex product systems
• Deep understanding of high-speed multi-layer product boards
• Strong hardware architecture knowledge with server build, mech, power, and thermal aspects
• Hands-on problem solving spanning software and hardware
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to lead cross-disciplinary teams
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn and teach

Responsibilities

• Drive architecture for datacenter systems from chip to datacenter scale
• Collaborate with silicon, software, networking and operations teams on cutting-edge products
• Analyze performance, power and cost to inform architectural decisions
• Guide product teams with architectural direction and new solutions
• Engage with key customers and system development partners
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement to align roadmaps
• Define and execute systems from concept through large deployments
• Monitor industry trends and competitor solutions
