Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities, plan and assure continuous improvement.
- Effectively keep senior management and client representatives informed of critical issues.
- Ensure the development of systems and procedures for managing operations, equipment, and products in a safe and profitable manner in accordance with company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Manage operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals.
- Implement and report on ongoing cost savings measures; provide ideas for more efficient operations.
- Meet all client specified KPI’s and comply with quality system requirements.
- Apply communication and motivational techniques, creating programs to fairly supervise, counsel, and discipline team members.
- Assist in creating programs for hiring, training, and professional development.
- Participate in performance evaluation system for recommending promotions and wage increases.
- Have overall training and evaluation responsibilities of warehouse staff.
- Plan the daily work schedule by reviewing existing work orders, arrival notices, and instructions from customers.
- Assess priorities based on time sensitivity and available resources; assign duties to appropriate staff.
- Review pending jobs or trends, plan for reorganization of warehouse space, and needed changes in staffing levels.
- Train new staff in assigned duties or delegate training responsibility to experienced team members.
- Keep informed of quantity and quality of jobs being performed, providing guidance as necessary.
- Assign supervisory duties to experienced team members acting as leads for lower-level staff.
- Keep manager advised of progress or problems; hold regular meetings with staff to assess overall status.
- Assist in the physical operations as needed.
- Deliver results by leveraging the skills of the right people at the right time.
- Maintain high motivation in team members to provide highest levels of customer satisfaction.
- Provide ongoing growth and development opportunities for team members.
- Provide input and conduct annual performance reviews for team members.
- Support adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Skills & Abilities
Education & Experience
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
- 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
- Preferred: Prior MHE certification or knowledge of basic MHE operation.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
Computer Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with RF scanners.
- Knowledge of WMS functions.
Language Skills
- English (reading, writing, verbal).
- Business communication skills.
Mathematical Skills
- Basic to intermediate level to verify quantities, count inventory, or perform other duties associated with handling, storing and distributing client products.

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and timely completion of job tasks.

Compensation
Expected base pay range: $95,000.00 – $95,000.00 Annual.
