Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) is seeking a DC Strategy & Acquisition Associate in Santa Clara, CA. The role supports evaluation, diligence, and execution of data center power and strategic partnerships, serving as the analytical and program-management engine for the team’s opportunity pipeline.

You will move projects from screening through commercial evaluation and readiness tracking, coordinating with AMD and external partners to deliver timely decisions and successful execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Real Estate, Energy, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data center industry, strategy, corporate development, investment banking, consulting, or similar.
• Experience performing financial, market, or commercial analysis and developing recommendations.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint capabilities, including financial modeling and executive-level presentations.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional workstreams and manage project status.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market scans and diligence for power availability, site readiness, and project economics.
• Program-manage the data center power and partnerships pipeline with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare updates and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate due diligence across Legal, Finance, Engineering, Real Estate, and other teams.
• Support negotiations with term sheets, analyses, and input from stakeholders.
