Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Startup Manager to oversee the commissioning, startup, testing, client turnover, and initial operation activities to ensure alignment with project objectives. You will lead startup teams through pre-commissioning, start-up, and handover, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety, quality, schedule, commissioning, staffing, material control for startup process.
• Plans, implements and directs pre-commissioning testing programs and start-up procedures.
• Develop startup schedule and milestones for incorporation into the project schedule.
• Interpret, organize, and coordinate all assignments for start-up staff.
• Ensure safe startup and plant operations activities including equipment and system checkout.
• Review design changes and provide reports to engineering liaison.
