Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Strategic Sourcing lead to drive end-to-end procurement for Data Center electrical and mechanical Owner Furnished Equipment (OFE). You will own sourcing strategies for generators, switchgear, UPS, chillers, and cooling equipment, partnering with engineering, demand planning, construction, and third parties to secure availability and favorable terms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in supply chain management, sourcing, and procurement.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Familiar with data center electrical and mechanical equipment (e.g., generators, switchgear, transformers, UPS, batteries, chillers, cooling towers, CRAHs/CRACs, pumps).
• Experience developing processes for forecasting, planning, and managing data center equipment for build-out and/or operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial negotiations and Master Purchase Agreements for critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Audit partner procurement schedules, ensure optimal allocation, and drive cost efficiency.
• Implement frameworks for third-party data center partners and general contractors to adhere to terms and specifications.
• Develop global inventory strategy including warehousing, 3PL, buffer stock, and distribution models.
• Monitor global supply chain volatility and execute contingency plans to avoid project delays.
• Translate capacity roadmaps into equipment forecasts and procurement pipelines.
• Partner with Finance to optimize inventory and capital deployment.
• Establish return, repair, and replacement workflows with OEMs.
• Negotiate warranty, startup/commissioning support, and spare parts terms.
