Job summary

Salute is seeking a Data Center Site Manager to lead operations at a data center site, ensuring peak performance of critical equipment and facilities management. You will report to the Regional Director and coordinate with engineers, technicians, and third-party vendors.

You will drive safety, compliance, and service levels while supervising a team, managing budgets, and implementing quality standards across site operations. A proactive leader with strong communication is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in operation, installation, and maintenance of data center equipment and building systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and control systems.
• Degree required; alternative: GED with 3+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing data center site team and develop talent.
• Oversee safety, security, compliance, and site transparency.
• Manage budgets, payments, and payroll cycles.
• Coordinate site services and resources for the client.
• Ensure service levels with internal teams and clients.
• Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions for stability.
• Create and drive quality standards for the data center teams.
• Respond to emergencies and manage indoor air quality issues.
• Review work requests and ensure completion.
• Manage contractor performance and site workloads.
• Oversee shift planning, staffing, and payroll in collaboration with HR.
