Job summary

Salute is seeking a Data Center Site Manager in Meridian, MS to oversee electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety systems across a 24/7 facility. You will lead a team of technical staff, coordinate with vendors, and ensure uptime above 99.999% while aligning with Salute's safety and reliability standards.

The role demands hands-on expertise in plant operations, preventative maintenance, incident response, and budget management, with strong communication skills to report to the Regional

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years operating/maintaining data center equipment and building systems with in-depth technical understanding.
• HS diploma or GED with 3+ years’ experience in electrical systems, refrigeration and/or HVAC.
• Knowledge of data center electrical and mechanical systems including generators, switchgear, UPS, PDU, chillers, AHUs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop site operations team with focus on safety and compliance.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of critical data center equipment.
• Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate with internal groups to meet service levels.
