Job summary

Veterans Prime, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Senior Service Tech (HVAC Mechanic) to work on advanced building systems in a safety-first environment in Abilene, TX.

You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment including chillers, boilers, hydronics, and controls. You’ll use laser alignment tools and vibration analysis to optimize performance and act as a technical advisor to clients while mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• Commercial/Industrial HVAC background or equivalent military rating.
• Universal EPA certification preferred.
• Experience with heavy systems (chillers, boilers, hydronics, controls).

Data Center Senior Service Tech (HVAC Mechanic)

Total Compensation: $90-150K(significant OT needed)

What You'll Do

• Perform advanced diagnostics, PMs, and repairs on commercial HVAC machinery, centrifugal chillers, air handlers, and digital control networks.
• Utilize laser alignment tools and vibration analysis systems to ensure peak operational performance.
• Serve as a key technical advisor for client accounts and mentor junior technicians.

Candidate Qualifications

• Commercial/Industrial HVAC background or equivalent military rating (Army 91C/12K, Air Force 3E1X1, Navy MM/UT highly preferred).
• Experience with heavy systems (chillers, boilers, hydronics, controls) and alignment/vibration diagnostics.
• Universal EPA certification (preferred).
