QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Security Systems Engineer for our Ashburn, VA data center. You will lead day-to-day operations of physical security systems, deploy Genetec, Prowatch, and Lenel platforms, and collaborate with facilities and engineering teams.

The role emphasizes evaluating requirements, ensuring reliable security infrastructure, and supporting on-call duties to protect critical assets. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualificações

• Three years of experience maintaining enterprise IP CCTV systems
• Three years maintaining enterprise-level access control systems (Prowatch or Lenel)
• Three years designing CCTV and access control system integration and operation

Responsabilidades

• Maintain relationships with staff and executive level management
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with strong organization and multi-tasking
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Accurately estimate the work effort for all technical deliverables
• Coordinate day-to-day support activities with personnel from different groups with minimal supervision
• Work closely with colleagues, maintenance personnel, project managers, building managers, engineers, and contractors
• Lead maintenance and modification of applications and security systems to improve efficiency
• Collaborate with Property Development, Solutions, and Facilities on enterprise security designs
