Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Physical Security Specialist to drive security excellence in 24x7 data center operations. You will monitor access, coordinate with on-site teams, and perform remote security tasks to protect critical infrastructure across the Americas.

The role requires strong experience with security controls and incident response, and may involve day, mid, or overnight shifts. US citizenship or equivalent is required for GovCloud regions.

Qualifications

• Experience with Access/Intrusion control systems in a Control room environment.
• 1+ years in a data center or 5+ years in related security roles.
• Experience in security- or risk-related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of data centers by remote security tasks involving security systems and access control.
• Drive security awareness campaigns to enhance vigilance and effectiveness.
• Develop and extract performance metrics from security data.
• Lead security investigations across campus facilities.
• US Citizenship or equivalent status required for GovCloud regions.
• May work Day, Mid or Evening/Overnight shifts.
