Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Security Officer Level 1 to support site security and collaborate with the DCOPS team. You will enforce security procedures, manage access control, monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, and complete written reports to ensure a secure data center environment.

The role requires strong communication, vigilant observation, and the ability to work under a rigorous process-driven team setting with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in a security role, or equivalent.
• Experience with access control and CCTV systems preferred.
• Active certifications such as CSG or CPO are required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all employees, clients, vendors, and visitors have proper company-issued ID.
• Patrol assigned posts on foot to maintain visibility and observe unusual activity.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment for clients and staff.
• Monitor security technologies including CCTV and access control systems.
• Investigate and report security, maintenance, and safety conditions.
• Prepare concise shift activity reports, incident reports, and logs.
• Adhere to security procedures and company policies.
• Assist personnel with security-related requests.
• Conduct audits of access control, badge discrepancies, and related tasks as directed.
• Assist with Shipping & Receiving duties when needed.
• Respond to site emergencies and coordinate with local emergency services.
• Document fires, evacuations, and hazardous situations.
• Maintain familiarity with security procedures and policies.
• Investigate all security-related incidents, interview witnesses, and report findings.
• Guide personnel on security processes to ensure compliance.
