Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Security Officer Level 1 to join the site security team. Under the Security Supervisor, you will manage access control, monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, and prepare written reports to support a safe, compliant data center environment.

You will collaborate with the DCOPS and other departments, ensure daily documentation is complete, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel and infrastructure across the data center.

Qualifications

• Experience with standard security practices and equipment.
• Ability to stay calm in emergencies.
• Strong written communication for incident reports.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper identification of employees, clients, vendors, and visitors.
• Patrol assigned post on foot to observe activity.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems.
• Investigate and report security, maintenance, and safety conditions.
• Complete concise administrative documentation (shift reports, incident reports, logs).
• Adhere to security procedures and company policies.
• Assist personnel with security-related requests.
• Assist with Shipping & Receiving tasks when needed.
• Respond to site emergencies and coordinate with local services.
• Investigate fires, evacuations, hazards, and facility events.
• Maintain familiarity with security policies and procedures.
• Investigate incidents, interview witnesses and victims.
