Job summary

RedCloud Consulting seeks a Security Project Engineer to support immediate client operations in Abilene, TX. The role acts as the dedicated owner’s representative for physical security across data center construction projects, coordinating with GCs and SIs and ensuring compliance with security design standards.

You will drive onsite execution, manage liaison duties between internal teams and external partners, and oversee quality, commissioning, and turnover processes toSecOps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in physical security systems, construction engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related infrastructure.
• Prior QA/QC experience in physical security is preferred.
• Prior data center experience in regulated environments is preferred.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and plan the security construction program with early engagement to enable smooth execution.
• Lead security kickoff meetings with all project stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for all physical security matters.
• Guide GCs and SIs to execute work per approved security designs.
• Coordinate with security integrators and other trades to resolve conflicts and maintain sequencing.
• Organize regular onsite project meetings to track progress and report status.
