Job summary

AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) is seeking a Security Services Manager to lead security operations within data centers and collaborate with partner teams. You will drive operational security excellence, manage communications, and implement security processes and procedures to improve overall security posture.

The role requires extracting metrics from hard data, coordinating with security vendors, and delivering actionable security strategies that translate into daily security operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of process improvement procedures experience.
• 2+ years of overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors experience.
• Proven track record of customer service with excellent verbal and written communication skills; good judgment and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Manage a chat queue, phone communications, and trouble tickets; provide customer support.
• Drive security awareness campaigns to enhance vigilance and effectiveness.
• Experience with workflow ticketing and extraction/development of performance metrics.
• Configure physical security devices including cameras, readers, and panels.
• Support daily operational security across a data center campus.
• Distill overarching security strategy into daily tactics to reach management goals.
