Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Security Officer L1 to support a high‑risk data center environment. You will enforce access control, monitor CCTV, respond to incidents, and prepare concise written reports. The role collaborates with DCOPS and shipping/receiving while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

The position requires strong communication, vigilance, and the ability to work a Sunday–Tuesday 7pm–7am and a Wednesday 1pm–8pm shift, with reliability and a team focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year in a security role or equivalent.
• Security experience in a data center or similar setting is a plus.
• Ability to follow procedures and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper company-issued ID for employees, clients, vendors and visitors.
• Patrol assigned posts to maintain visibility and deter threats.
• Monitor CCTV and access control systems for security incidents.
• Investigate and report security, safety and maintenance conditions.
• Complete concise, accurate shift activity and incident reports.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks when needed.
• Adhere to security policies, manuals and company guidelines.
• Coordinate with emergency services during site incidents.
• Maintain documentation and logs for audits and reviews.
