Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for a full-time security officer at a commercial data center in Washington. You will provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while enforcing site procedures and responding to incidents.

Shifts are 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Sunday with weekends. The role includes unarmed patrols, access control, incident documentation, and collaboration with site management to maintain a safe, secure environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include valid driver’s license (where applicable), ability to lift 20+ pounds, comfort with computer/tablet use, and background/drug screening as per law.
• Experience in customer service and familiarity with access control procedures are preferred.
• Licensed status and regulatory requirements vary by location and may be required for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees while following site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility interior, exterior, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain visitor/incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, professional manner and assist with emergency response as directed.
• Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to leadership and site management.
