Job summary

Securitas is hiring a Data Center Security Officer in Goodyear, AZ. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, secure environment by monitoring the premises, controlling access, and patrolling client sites.

You will enforce regulations and assist employees and visitors with information and directions. Daily tasks include responding to emergencies with calm, professional judgment, conducting property tours, and performing assigned duties for the security program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and vigilance during shift.
• Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening, including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises actively, including access control and patrolling multiple locations.
• Enforce client site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and area.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazards and escalate as needed.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and visitors.

Data Center Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Goodyear, AZ

Wage Range: $18.00-$20.00/HR

TheData Center Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order whileenforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

• Security experience preferred.
