Job summary

Vantage Data Centers in Santa Clara, CA seeks a Security Manager to lead the data center security program onsite. You will develop and enforce security policies, coordinate vendor activity, and supervise technicians to protect facilities and people.

Responsibilities include training staff, conducting audits, and collaborating with Design, Engineering, and Site Operations to ensure safety and compliance. Travel up to 25% may be required as the business evolves.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in security management.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate vendor service calls and preventative maintenance inspections.
• Train personnel in physical security procedures and the use of physical security equipment.
• Enforce safety regulations at the facility and direct/escort visitors and staff.
• Schedule rounds, patrols, and generate reports for audits and customers.
• Own the site break/fix program and manage security technicians.
