Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Data Center Security Installation Project Superintendent (Superintendent 1) in Columbus, OH to lead large data center security installations. You will coordinate, supervise, and drive safety, quality, and schedule adherence on-site every day.

You will manage resources, vendor relations, and documentation while ensuring compliance with project plans, permits, and industry standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years of experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in installation, integration, and testing of electronic security projects over $500k.
• Experience in the Security Industry.
• At least 2 years' experience managing security projects as Project Manager, Superintendent, or Project Foreman.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, scheduling, site safety, and permits.
• Manage daily material and labor planning with 4‑week look ahead forecasts.
• Oversee installation of cabling, racks, and building out security rooms.
• Ensure timely completion within budget and quality standards.
• Communicate with GC, owner, project teams, and field operations.
• Lead safety meetings and ensure compliance with regulations.
