Job summary

Vantage Data Centers seeks a Specialist, Physical Security Assurance to execute operational assurance, control testing, assessment, and compliance activities across the North America program. The role coordinates with Security, Operations, Technology, Construction and other stakeholders to strengthen control effectiveness.

The role applies consistent assurance methodologies, supports audit readiness, risk management, and performance reporting, driving program maturity and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Three or more years of relevant experience in physical security, quality assurance, audit, compliance, risk management, or a related control-based environment.
• Working knowledge of access control systems, video management systems, intrusion detection and alarm systems
• Experience developing dashboards and data visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms to track compliance, audit findings, corrective actions, and key performance indicators
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Travel is expected up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Audit Execution and Control Testing: Conduct site audits, assessments, and control testing across physical security environments; Execute standardized control test procedures and validation processes; Perform physical inspections of security infrastructure; Validate system configuration, coverage, and operational performance
• Data Collection and Documentation: Collect, review, and maintain audit evidence; Ensure documentation is audit-ready; Maintain audit records and supporting artifacts; Support development of audit reports and findings
• Compliance Management: Maintain corrective-action register; Review remediation evidence; Escalate overdue or material deficiencies; Support root-cause analysis and linkage to risks
• Quality Assurance: Conduct QA reviews; Analyze data to identify trends and improvements; Develop metrics and dashboards; Maintain dashboards and reports on assessment completion, findings, and remediation
• Operational Assurance Support: Perform periodic assurance checks; Monitor control performance; Develop continuous-assurance processes; Manage assessments with limited supervision
• Stakeholder Coordination: Partner with site security teams and cross-functional stakeholders; Provide actionable remediation feedback; Align programs to standards
