About this opportunity
Gleeds is seeking a Scheduler to join our growing Project Controls team, supporting the delivery of large-scale Data Center and Mission Critical projects across North America. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, fast-paced construction programs for leading technology clients, developing and maintaining project schedules that drive successful project delivery. The Scheduler will work closely with project managers, cost managers, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure accurate planning, progress tracking, and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Establish project baselines and monitor schedule performance against planned milestones.
- Analyze critical path activities and identify schedule risks, constraints, and opportunities.
- Perform schedule impact assessments and provide recovery recommendations when delays occur.
- Coordinate schedule updates with project teams, contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders.
- Produce schedule reports, dashboards, and progress updates for project leadership and clients.
- Support project controls processes including forecasting, earned value analysis, and performance measurement.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings and communicate schedule status across project teams.
- Ensure scheduling practices align with project controls standards and client requirements.
- Assist in developing integrated master schedules across multiple projects and workstreams.
Who we’re looking for
Experience, Knowledge And Key Skills
- 3+ years of scheduling experience within construction, infrastructure, mission critical, industrial, or data center environments.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 required; Microsoft Project experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of CPM scheduling methodologies and schedule analysis techniques.
- Experience supporting large-scale construction projects from planning through commissioning.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project execution plans.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.
Preferred Experience
- Data Center, Mission Critical, Industrial, Energy, or Advanced Technology project experience.
- Exposure to project controls, cost management, and earned value management (EVM).
- Experience working in a consulting environment supporting major capital programs.
- Familiarity with Power BI and schedule reporting tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
