Job summary

Medcor Safety, a subsidiary of Medcor, is seeking an experienced Safety Professional for a short-term construction project in New Albany, Ohio. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, compliant site for a data center construction, under a Lead Safety Professional and electrical contractor guidance.

Responsibilities include inspections, hazard assessment, and coordinating with field teams to uphold OSHA standards and client requirements while documenting actions and supporting training records.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction safety experience.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with project leadership.
• Willingness to work 50–60 hours per week, including potential night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular jobsite safety inspections and audits.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with field crews, supervisors, and management to promote safety.
• Monitor OSHA compliance and client safety requirements.
• Document safety observations and corrective actions.
• Support safety training records and incident investigations.
• Participate in daily safety meetings and site orientations.
• Assist in developing Site-Specific Safety Plans.
