Job summary

Rowan Digital Infrastructure is seeking a Project Safety Manager for a 100% onsite role in Lytle, TX, with 10–15% travel. Compensation ranges from $110K to $130K plus bonus and incentives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a safety professional in a construction delivery organization; data center experience highly desired.
• Bachelor's degree in a safety-specific field or equivalent experience.
• BCSP certification (e.g., Certified Safety Professional, Associate Safety Professional, Construction Health and Safety Technician).
• Knowledge of OSHA standards (Construction and General Industry).
• Familiarity with electrical, cranes, trench and excavation safety practices.
• Experience with safety management software such as Procore and Highwire; proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end construction safety for data center projects from development to final delivery.
• Monitor safety of site infrastructure, substation, and core/shell construction.
• Ensure GC compliance with Rowan Contractor Safety Management Program.
• Collaborate with Development, Engineering, and Procurement for seamless handoff and readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement of construction processes and safety practices.
• Promote safety culture and lead programs to improve overall safety performance.
• Maintain and report EHS metrics for the project site.
• Analyze safety data, leading indicators, incidents, and trends for proactive risk reduction.
• Support accident/incident investigations with GCs to determine improvements.
• Lead safety audits and site inspections and perform risk assessments.
• Manage a team of 2 safety professionals.
• Participate in site High Risk Activity meetings.
• Collaborate with GC to implement Site Safety Steering Committees.
• Support worker safety observation and engagement programs.
