Job summary

Covestic Inc. seeks an Data Center Safety Coordinator to lead daily safety operations in client data center, warehouse, deployment zones, and adjacent construction areas. You’ll serve as the on-site safety point of contact, drive hazard control, pre-task planning, and incident follow-up to protect personnel and assets.

This role requires strong OSHA knowledge, field coaching skills, and the ability to stop unsafe work while coordinating with operations, construction, and client teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in safety coordination or a safety leadership role in logistics, warehouse, data center, or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA general industry and construction safety standards.
• Experience leading hazard recognition, risk assessment, and stop-work situations.
• Ability to develop and deliver safety trainings and toolbox talks.
• Proficiency with MS Office and safety reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite safety operations for assigned shifts and areas within data center and deployment environments.
• Identify hazards, conduct daily safety walks, and ensure hazard controls are in place.
• Coordinate pre-task safety reviews, JHA/JSA, and toolbox talks with cross-functional teams.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, track corrective actions, and report trends.
• Promote a culture of hazard awareness and stop-work authority across teams.
