Job summary

Progressive Safety is seeking a Safety Coordinator for a large-scale data center project in the Milwaukee area. The role focuses on maintaining a strong safety culture, conducting field safety walks, and supporting OSHA compliance on a mission-critical site.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of construction safety experience, OSHA 510, and OSHA 10/30 certifications. Per Diem is available for qualified candidates and growth opportunities are strong within a high-profile project.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of construction safety experience on large commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• OSHA 510 certification.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.
• Strong communication skills for field crews and teams.
• Ability to organize and manage safety documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily jobsite safety walks and inspections.
• Identify hazards and work with field leadership to resolve issues quickly.
• Support enforcement of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Work with project managers, foremen, and craft workers to promote safe practices.
• Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
