Job summary

Cedar Investment Group seeks a Risk & Insurance Manager to oversee Cedar’s insurance programs across development and corporate operations, coordinating with Willis Towers Watson and other partners. The role focuses on developing coverage, managing renewals, and aligning insurance with the evolving development portfolio.

The candidate will work with Legal, Development, Construction, Procurement, Finance, and leadership to identify coverage gaps, manage risk, and protect Cedar’s financial

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of commercial insurance coverage and risk transfer.
• Experience coordinating with brokers, carriers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to challenge pricing, terms, and coverage to achieve value.

Responsibilities

• Manage insurance requirements across Cedar’s data center development and construction portfolio.
• Coordinate strategy, coverage, and documentation with Development, Legal, Finance, and external partners.
• Lead annual renewal processes, data collection, and market submissions.
• Evaluate coverage gaps, pricing, deductibles, and risk-transfer options.
• Partner with Legal on indemnification and contractual risk matters.
