Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join the Asset Management & Reliability team within Facility Operations in Madison, WI. You will identify asset reliability risks across the data center lifecycle, drive scoping and roadmapping for reliability initiatives, and tackle complex technical ambiguities at the fleet level to ensure seamless operations across new and existing sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Reliability Engineering or similar field and 8+ years of experience (or 10+ years in lieu of degree)
• 10+ years of reliability engineering experience or related roles for electrical/mechanical cooling equipment
• Experience with Reliability Centered Maintenance and FMEA activities to optimize reliability
• Ability to independently scope work, set technical direction and handle ambiguity
• Proficient with EAM solutions to extract data and gain insights
• Knowledge of ISO 14224, 17359, 55000 standards
• Cross-functional leadership and program management experience
• Able to travel 25% domestically and internationally

Responsibilities

• Lead FMEA and maintenance strategy development
• Govern content for Global Maintenance Library and maintenance change management
• Drive corrective maintenance through root cause analysis and preventive actions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across reliability activities
• Oversee condition-based monitoring and diagnostics programs including IR and PD tests
• Optimize MTTR and MTBF metrics for continuous improvement
• Develop whole-equipment sparing and Parts FBPN setups
• Liaise with IBOS/ISCE teams on replacement parts, tooling, and audits
• Identify reliability opportunities and drive engineering excellence across the team
• Establish service BOMs and supplier scope management
