Job summary

Flexential seeks a Critical Infrastructure Engineer to maintain 99.999% uptime across assigned data centers in Portland, OR. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, and manage vendor relations while building a strong tech team.

You will read blueprints, lead change control, and assist with disaster recovery exercises, commissioning, and safety compliance to support 24x7 operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center experience with uptime and reliability focus.
• Experience with building automation systems and critical infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical data center systems.

Responsibilities

• 24x7 on-call support and rapid response to incidents.
• Monitor and maintain mission-critical equipment to ensure 99.999% uptime.
• Read blueprints and specifications; implement SOPs and MOPs.
• Support disaster recovery exercises and commissioning efforts.
