Job summary

Flexential is seeking a Critical Infrastructure Engineer in Portland, OR to perform preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems across data centers. You will build strong relationships with Data Center Technicians and provide hands-on training as needed.

Responsibilities include on-call duties, 24x7 operations support, and collaborating on disaster recovery and commissioning activities to ensure uptime and compliance with SLAs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of data center experience.
• 4+ years of root cause analysis and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with building automation systems.
• 4+ years in a critical infrastructure environment.
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in data centers.

Responsibilities

• 24x7 facility on-call responsibility.
• Monitor and maintain mission-critical equipment to meet 99.999% uptime and SLA compliance.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Drive improvements toward operational excellence and efficiency.
• Assist disaster recovery drills and commissioning efforts.
