Job summary

MeeBoss is seeking a Data Center Technician to support rack, stack, and cable installation across servers, storage, networking, and GPU systems. You will read deployment docs, label assets, and ensure airflow and cable management meet standards.

Work involves moving and connecting power, fiber, and copper cabling, performing basic hardware checks, and collaborating with Data Center Engineers during deployments and migrations. Must lift up to 50 lbs and follow ESD/safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on data center experience performing rack and stack.
• Ability to read rack elevation diagrams and deployment instructions.
• Familiarity with ESD procedures and safe handling of hardware.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined rack environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform rack, stack, and cable installation of servers, storage, networking, and GPU systems.
• Install rails, mount equipment, label assets, and ensure proper airflow and cable management.
• Connect and verify power, fiber, and copper network cabling.
• Assist with hardware moves, adds, and changes (MACs) across data center floors.
• Follow deployment runbooks and engineering documentation.
• Conduct basic hardware validation, LED/port checks, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain asset tracking and documentation in internal tools.
• Partner with Data Center Engineers and Network teams during deployments and migrations.
• Adhere to ESD, safety, and security protocols.
• Support decommissioning and removal of end-of-life hardware.
