Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee quality programs for data centers in Austin, Texas. This role involves managing daily quality control activities, leading project teams, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Candidates should have a technical degree and at least 5 years of experience in MEP-heavy projects. Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in design, construction, and/or commissioning for large & complex MEP-heavy projects.
• Previous experience leading construction documentation and contract administration.
• Knowledge of one or more quality systems such as Malcolm Baldridge or ISO 9000 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of the quality program for data centers.
• Manage daily QC responsibilities for specific projects.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications.
• Conduct periodic quality walkthroughs with the client and project team.
• Provide weekly QC reports to track construction conformance.
