Job summary

Randstad USA in Hubbard, Texas, seeks a Quality Manager to bridge technical standards and field execution on premier data center projects. You will lead quality programs, ensuring safety and compliance to project goals, with per diem available.

This permanent role requires 5+ years in civil/structural/architectural quality on large builds, plus proficiency with Procore, BIM 360, and defect-tracking tools, under schedule pressure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managing Civil, Structural, and Architectural quality on data center developments or large commercial/industrial builds.
• Experience authoring and executing Quality Management Plans, Inspection & Testing Plans, Definable Features of Work, Non Conformance Reports, root cause analyses, and quality initiatives.
• Hands-on leader managing third-party testing firms, local authority inspections, pre-installation meetings, First of Kind and Mock Up evaluations, and owner furnished equipment.
• Proficient in contract review, risk mitigation, and construction software to drive real time defect tracking and log management.
• Mentor and technical liaison between commissioning agents, superintendents, trade partners, and clients, fostering a zero defect culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead Civil/Structural/Architectural quality on data center projects, including shell and core elements like foundations, steel, utilities, and envelopes with code compliance.
• Author and execute QMPs, ITPs, Definable Features of Work, NCRs, root cause analyses, and quality initiatives.
• Manage third-party testing firms and local inspections; coordinate pre-install meetings and Mock Up evaluations.
• Drive defect tracking and log management using Procore, BIM 360, Bluebeam, ProjectSight, and Airtable.
• Serve as mentor and liaison to ensure zero defects while managing schedule pressure.
