Job summary

Span Construction & Engineering, Inc. seeks a QA/QC Manager to lead the project quality program on a large-scale data center construction site.

You will manage the Quality Plan, ITPs, and QC procedures across disciplines and supervise the QC Inspector team onsite. Collaborating with the owner’s quality representative, CxA, and inspectors, you will drive a culture of first-pass acceptance, maintain audit-ready documentation, and ensure strict adherence to safety and quality standards throughout

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years in QA/QC for commercial or industrial construction, with 3+ years in mission-critical projects preferred.
• Experience managing NCR and Corrective Action Requests and maintaining audit-ready docs.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains the project Quality Management Plan (QMP), ITPs, and QC procedures.
• Establishes Hold Points and Witness Points aligned with the project schedule.
• Supervises onsite QC Inspector team and reviews daily reports.
• Acts as primary liaison with owner QA reps, CxA, and third-party inspectors; leads weekly quality meetings.
• Owns NCR lifecycle from identification to closure and documentation.
• Reviews subcontractor QC submittals for conformance with specs and codes.
• Coordinates site readiness for Level 1-5 commissioning with CxA.
