Job summary

Legacy Professional Services is seeking a Construction Manager – Quality Control to oversee QA/QC activities on hyperscale data center construction projects. You will work with project leadership, subs, commissioning teams, client representatives, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure construction aligns with contract documents, project specifications, codes, and owner requirements.

This role emphasizes zero-defect delivery, participation in inspections, documentation of ITPs, and coordination

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction-related field.
• Five+ years in quality control, field engineering, or construction management.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, quality management, and building codes.
• Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and technical documentation.
• Experience performing quality inspections and coordinating corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality assurance and quality control activities throughout all phases of construction.
• Perform and document field inspections to verify compliance with contract docs and codes.
• Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and installation methods to ensure quality.
• Coordinate with project leadership and contractors to resolve quality issues and milestones.
• Witness and document inspections, testing, commissioning, and system validation.
• Identify, document, and verify corrective actions for nonconforming work.
• Maintain ITPs, inspection reports, deficiency logs, and quality records.
• Coordinate quality activities across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and connectivity systems.
• Utilize Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, and Bluebeam for quality documentation and reporting.
• Support project closeout by verifying systems are complete and ready for turnover.
