Job summary

EVAPCO, Inc. seeks a Data Center Market Project Manager to lead multi-site projects from scope to commissioning, coordinating customers, engineers, and suppliers.

This role requires a college degree and at least five years in PM within industrial HVAC or large-scale systems, with about 35% travel.

As part of EVAPCO’s data center unit, you will manage timelines, budgets, and communication among stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• College degree in Business, Business Management, Construction, Construction Management or Engineering, with minimum 5 years of related work experience preferred.
• Experience in Industrial Refrigeration, Commercial & Industrial HVAC, construction, or related field desired.
• Travel requirements approximately 35%.

Responsibilities

• Project Scope Definition: define objectives and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Risk Assessment: develop mitigation strategies for potential risks.
• Project Scheduling: maintain detailed schedules with timelines and milestones.
• Team Coordination: lead cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, shipping.
• Vendor Management: manage relationships with vendors and subcontractors to meet timelines.
• Stakeholder Communication: keep clients and management updated on progress.
• Progress Reporting: present milestones and issues.
• Quality Assurance: ensure deliverables meet quality standards and client specs.
• Regulatory Compliance: ensure activities meet industry standards and regulations.
• Budget Management: track expenses and optimize resource use.
• Issue Resolution: resolve conflicts promptly with stakeholders.
• Documentation: maintain project docs including drawings and manuals.
• Post-Project Evaluation: identify lessons learned.
