Job summary

Actalent seeks an experienced Data Center Project Manager to lead on-site, end-to-end data center initiatives in Ashburn. You will coordinate electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery in a live facility environment.

You will review engineering documents, manage multiple concurrent projects, and collaborate with operations, engineering, and contractors to minimize downtime while driving capacity and reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• This role requires 5+ years in construction or project management.
• This role requires 5+ years managing projects in data centers or critical infrastructures.
• This role requires 5+ years on-site construction trades with hands-on activities.
• Ability to read engineering docs, electrical diagrams, and SOPs.
• Strong vendor/contractor management experience in live facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate data center projects end-to-end within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Oversee electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural disciplines for quality and compliance.
• Lead safety improvements and drive availability, capacity, and structural initiatives.
• Review drawings, specs, and procedures for multi-domain data center construction.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects (3–12) and align with operational teams.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and contractors to minimize live-site impact.
