Job summary

Mission Critical Interior Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Head of the Project Team to lead a single project and drive success from start to finish. You will own budget, schedule, contracts, deliverables, procurement, and client communication, coordinating with the Superintendent and office staff.

As the project scales, you will mentor junior staff, manage change orders, and ensure reporting accuracy. The role is in-person in Cedar Rapids, IA, with day shifts and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction project management experience.
• Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Suite.
• Strong client-facing skills; reliable leadership counterpart to Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project documentation.
• Own project-level reporting and schedule.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones.
• Coordinate all phases of construction from procurement to closeout.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Approve invoices, change orders, and procurement costs.
• Lead and coordinate work of all project team members.
• Mentor and develop assistant project managers and project engineers.
• Serve as primary onsite client contact when sole manager.
• Address issues proactively to minimize cost and schedule impact.
• Maintain documentation for claims and dispute resolution.
