Job summary

kW Mission Critical Engineering in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Project Manager to lead a diverse team of engineers from initiation to completion with minimal oversight. You will manage client communications, write proposals, create change orders, budgets and invoicing, and drive project closeout.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of PM experience on large engineering or construction projects, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and project management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; field can be engineering, construction management, or related.
• 3–5 years of experience in project/program management on large engineering/construction projects.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to senior management.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of engineers, designers and staff through project completion.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while controlling scope, cost and schedule.
• Develop work plans, proposals, schedules, and obtain approvals.
• Maintain regular client communication on project status and quality; resolve issues.
• Prepare cost and schedule reporting; manage change orders and invoicing.
• Mentor team members and provide technical and administrative leadership.
• Administer subconsultant agreements and ensure project records compliance.
