Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Data Center Project Manager to lead complex, mission-critical data center projects nationwide. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across all phases of infrastructure delivery.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in design-build/EPC delivery for data centers, including power delivery, water systems, networking, and civil site development, with PMP certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of related experience managing design and/or construction projects.
• PMP certification required within 12 months of hire.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead client-facing delivery teams and manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk for complex projects.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across engineering disciplines, constructors, vendors and clients.
• Manage project controls, forecasting, invoicing, and risk/opportunity identification.
• Mentor and guide multi-disciplinary teams toward consistent project execution.
• Perform technical problem solving with engineering teams and specialists.
• Ensure health, safety, and quality requirements are met on projects.
• Support client satisfaction and repeat work through proactive communication.
