Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Data Center Project Manager to lead complex, mission-critical data center projects for clients nationwide in a hybrid work environment. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality, and ensure successful project delivery from design through turnover.

The ideal candidate has experience delivering data center, power, water systems, and BMS/EPMS integration, with PMP certification and 7+ years of leadership in engineering/construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience managing design and/or construction projects.
• PMP (PMI), certification is required (within 12 months of hire).
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data center projects and programs for major US clients.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk across multiple teams.
• Oversee early concept through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover.
• Coordinate across engineering disciplines, constructors, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Forecast, invoice, and manage earned value and identify risks/opportunities.
• Mentor multi-disciplinary project teams and ensure quality standards.
